We want every TikBoost Studio subscriber to be satisfied. This page describes when and how you can request a refund. Card payments are processed by our payment partner Bictorys (a licensed payment service provider) on a one-time basis covering 30 days (monthly plans) or 365 days (yearly plans).
1. 7-day satisfaction window (new subscribers)
First-time subscribers to a Pro or Creator plan can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of their initial purchase if they have not used the bulk of the included quota. As a guideline, we consider a refund eligible when usage stays below:
- 20% of the included monthly script generations,
- 3 video renders for the Pro plan, or 5 for the Creator plan,
- 5 video analyses.
Beyond these thresholds the request is reviewed case-by-case. We may decline if usage patterns suggest the service was consumed in full before requesting a refund.
2. Renewals
Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Each charge covers exactly one period (30 days for monthly, 365 days for yearly). A few days before expiry we email you with a link to re-purchase if you want to continue — you stay in control. Refunds for an already-paid period are not granted as a matter of right, but we will consider them when:
- You did not log in for the full period you paid for;
- A technical outage on our side prevented you from using the service for an extended duration;
- You purchased twice in error (within 48 hours of the first charge).
3. Yearly plans
Yearly plans are non-refundable after the first 7 days, except for the cases listed in section 2. We may issue partial credit toward a future plan instead of a cash refund at our discretion.
4. Free plan, trials and promotional credits
The Free plan is, by definition, not subject to refunds. Promotional credits, vouchers and discounts are not redeemable for cash and have no monetary value outside the platform.
5. Statutory rights (EU/UK customers)
EU and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK regulations. By starting to use the service immediately after subscribing, you expressly request and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is forfeited once the service has been fully provided. The 7-day window above is a contractual addition that applies on top of any non-waivable statutory rights.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Disputed transactions resolved amicably are processed within 3-5 business days. Chargebacks opened without prior contact may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
7. How to request a refund
Send an email to [email protected] from the address on your account, with:
- Your account email,
- The payment reference (visible on /billing/invoices in your account, format
TB-PRO-…), - A short reason — bug report, billed by mistake, did not match expectations, etc.
We typically respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued through Bictorys back to the original payment card and arrive within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Currency and tax
Charges are quoted in USD and settled by Bictorys in XOF (West African CFA franc). Refunds are issued in the same wire currency the charge was processed in (XOF); your bank applies its standard FX rate when crediting your card.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect new products, regulatory changes or operational adjustments. Material changes are announced 14 days in advance via email and the in-app announcement banner. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in force on the date of that purchase.
